Alex is a Research Scientist at Recombia. She holds a bachelors degree from MIT in Chemical-Biological Engineering and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Cornell. At Cornell she studied synthetic RNA switches and gene expression networks. Recently, she was a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF studying synthetic network motifs in yeast using de novo designed proteins.
